Grant FAQs

We have two strategic focus areas:

  1. projects and initiatives that promote inclusion and
  2. person-focused opportunities for individuals who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and cancer research. While our IDD funding prioritizes housing, additional areas include education, employment, the arts, advocacy and programs that provide navigation and other support services for individuals who experience IDD and their families. Our cancer research grants focus on clinical research.

We always appreciate the opportunity to learn about new organizations and initiatives. Our grant programs are open to all qualified nonprofits in Oregon and Washington. In between grant cycles, we do not accept unsolicited requests for funding. Please sign up to receive alerts regarding grant cycles. We have two grant cycles per year and any eligible nonprofit organization in Oregon or Washington is eligible to apply.

The average for a small grant is $25,000. Larger grants average $100,000 per year for up to three years.

Our board of directors makes the final decision regarding funding.
