Like his father Wayne, Sean spent his career in the automobile sales industry. Starting at the age of 12, Sean worked up to a wide range of management roles in California, Colorado, and Oregon. Sean helped to advance the growth and reputation of Kuni Auto through an unrelenting focus on customer service and community involvement. He was the general manager of Kuni Cadillac and BMW in Oregon before transitioning to his role as a member of Kuni Auto Group’s Board of Directors.

His involvement in the Kuni family business provided real-time experience as he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics from Willamette University, where he also received his Master of Business Administration. Reflecting his family’s strong commitment to community service, Sean has been involved in a wide range of business and nonprofit organizations.

As a member of the Board of Directors for the Jessie F. Richardson Foundation and its companion organization AGE+, Sean helps champion a new vision for successful and equitable aging for all Oregonians. He also serves on the Board of Stephen’s Place, a supportive, independent apartment community designed for adults who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities. He is an active member of Portland Rotary and previously served on the Board of Oregon Episcopal School.

As a member of the Kuni Foundation Board of Directors, Sean activates his parents’ legacy of powering potential through advancing cancer research and enhancing the lives of people who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities.
